What is Forex VPS?

A Forex VPS is a Windows-based VPS optimized for running MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, NinjaTrader, and similar trading platforms 24/7. The "optimization" comes down to three things: low-latency networking to broker servers, guaranteed CPU availability for tick processing, and uptime that never makes you miss a trade.

Our Forex VPS runs from our Paris (FR-PAR-1) datacenter, which has direct peering to LD4 (London-Slough), FR2 (Frankfurt), and most major European broker datacenters. Round-trip latency to most European brokers is under 5 milliseconds — fast enough that broker-side execution becomes the bottleneck, not your VPS.

Why a Forex VPS instead of trading from home

Three reasons. First, uptime. Your home internet goes down at the worst possible moment — during a Fed announcement, during a breaking news event, when you have a position open. A datacenter VPS has redundant power, redundant networking, redundant cooling. We measure uptime in 9s; home connections measure it in "yeah, mostly".

Second, latency. The geographic distance from your house to your broker is far larger than from our Paris datacenter to the same broker. For EAs (Expert Advisors) and scalping strategies, every millisecond of latency directly impacts execution price.

Third, persistence. Your trading platform runs 24/7 even when your laptop is closed, your house has a power cut, or you're traveling. Connect via RDP from your phone if you need to check, but the platform never stops.

Every Forex VPS is shipped with optional pre-installation of:

• MetaTrader 4 — the classic, still ubiquitous
• MetaTrader 5 — multi-asset, more modern, better for algorithmic trading
• cTrader — for ECN/STP brokers
• NinjaTrader 8 — advanced charting, futures-friendly
• TradingView desktop — for chart-based strategies
