Three Tier IV datacenters across France: Paris, Marseille, Lyon. Sub-5ms latency to all French ISPs. Carrier-neutral, sovereign, secure.
FranceVPS operates three datacenters across the French metropolitan area, strategically positioned to give every region of France — and France's strategic neighbors — sub-10ms latency. Our infrastructure is owned and operated by us, hosted in Tier IV-certified facilities, and managed by engineers who live within an hour of each site.
Our Paris anchor — direct peering with France-IX, Equinix PA2 and Telehouse 2. Failover to FR-PAR-2 (Aubervilliers) in under 90 seconds. The largest of our three sites.
Gateway to North Africa, Italy, and the Middle East. Connected to 14 submarine cables.
Disaster recovery anchor, low-latency to Switzerland and Northern Italy.
Most cloud providers either centralize everything in Paris (creating a single point of failure for all of France) or spread thinly across Europe (and call France a region). We chose neither. By operating three datacenters within French borders, we give customers two things competitors don't: true geographic redundancy under French jurisdiction, and regional latency optimization for French users.
The Paris hub handles the bulk of our compute — it's where most customers deploy by default. Marseille is positioned for southern Europe, North Africa, and any workload that needs to terminate close to the 14 submarine cables landing there. Lyon serves as both a regional hub for southeast France and as the natural disaster-recovery pair for Paris.
